Explore Angola's wildlife at Parque Nacional do Quicama, established as a game reserve in the 1930s. Sandwiched between the Cuanza and Longa Rivers, the park encompasses 120 km (75 mi) of the Atlantic Ocean's coast and features diverse vegetation ranging from mangrove forests to dense woods and savannahs with plenty of cacti and baobab trees. Part of the largest animal transplant in history, the park is currently being repopulated by elephants and other animals from Botswana and South Africa.
