Oh dear, where to start. Definately not worth the money. Still christmas lights hanging all over. Old, dirty, broken christmas lights. Santas were like they've choked to death. Story book garden was..... more »
A vision made a reality by a man with the means. Spread over 60 ha of Pokolbin wine region, it encompasses a dozen distinct garden styles, seasonal events, backed into a shopping village, a pub and a wine cellar door. The garden has been in a static state for almost 20 years, being a display garden. This has its drawbacks, retaining the same look as the last time you came, but is also means the plants are well established, for the most part. Well worth the trip, even to just take in the garden, see the surrounding village and visit the cellar or as a part of your tour of the Hunter Valley wine region.
Awesome and well maintained gardens. Great place for photography. I haven't been there during holidays season but heard they put up great lights and open rides for kids. Ticket price is quiet high though.
