  • Beautiful bookcase with frescoes, globe and statues. The entrance fee costs 8euro, but if there are children or teenagers there is the family ticket option.

  • Designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Ellach at the order of Emperor Carl VI, his son Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Ellach was built in 1723-26. The library is 77.7m long, 14,2m wide, and 19.6m high, and the walls are beautifully decorated and full of historical books. The oval space, 18m x 29.2m in the center and 29.2m high, is a wonderful ceiling painting by Daniel Grand. It creates a dignified atmosphere with the image of Carl VI, which has been deified by hercules. It can be said that it is one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

  • No words can describe. Absolutely amazing. The library, it's books, and displays are breath taking. A must see. Allocate about 20 minutes once inside. Stand in line for the ticket and don't leave because of the line. Well worth the wait.
  • An exciting atmosphere, a place that is definitely worth a visit. One of the best experiences in Vienna.
