  • St, James' Church is a massive building in Ghent. The first wooden church dedicated to Saint James was built on this site in 1093. The current church looks really nice.  more »
  • This is just a lovely old church that doesn't get the recognition the other churches in town do. The stone work is very nice and the alter is ornate and well decorated with marble spiral columns...  more »
  • I happen to visit this church when there was a fascinating sculpture exhibition there. It was truly extraordinary... Giving it a 5 star for this.
  • Very historic building with beautiful architecture. The church was built in 11th Century (as I was told) and has ancient window design with column in middle. The masons did not have the design to make big open window without support in centre. The place gives feeling like game of thrones era.
