Mount Huashan, Huayin

#1 of 104 in Parks in Shaanxi
Part of a chain of peaks towering above the surrounding landscape, Mount Huashan stands as one of the most sacred peaks in Taoism, Buddhism, and Chinese history. Pay a visit to the mountain and you'll find somewhat surreal views of razor-sharp ridges puncturing the sky, covered with hardy shrubs and trees. Follow the harrowing stone pathways and plank steps to cross these ridges, enjoying sweeping views along the way. You can even stop at several temples and shrines as you go. Keep in mind before visiting that the mountain features a number of hair-raising pathways; several involve essentially shimmying along a footboard with nothing but an iron chain between you and a drop of more than 1,524 m (5,000 ft). Carefully consider the risks of venturing off the more beaten paths atop the ridges, as they can be extremely dangerous. • Take a local tour. I arrived at the ticket office at 9:30 in the morning, but there was a long line. Moreover, it was not possible to ride the ropeway in the west though it was going to climb from the west ropeway and come back by the north ropeway. It is said that it will be a round-trip north ropeway. I was able to ride the ropeway at 12:30. The ropeway was crowded and it was foggy, so I gave up climbing and came back. Recently, the number of Chinese tourists is increasing, so it is crowded everywhere.

  • Xi'an Mountain is a must-have for all those with the soul of the armed forces, and even without the gingiv, they want to step on it. Before the accident friends checked the road pushed the mountain climbing road: the West Peak on the north peak below. Wait until the ticket ingress to find out that this classic road light is waiting for the people to catch up with the public on the crowd, in order to save time to change the trip from the north peak to the west peak, this change is really the beginning of a really picky, and finally I sweating like an old dog to climb the mountain, announced the withdrawal of the river and lake. North peak on the west peak all the way up, climb to the legs and still can't see, the most terrible is the mountain people and mountains, really a little bit of confusion, really let the first climb of my eyes. There are many passengers taking pictures that really completely completely completely do not affect the safety of life. It's also a big deal for people who like to be happy. The steepness of the mountains doubles, and if there is a chance I will want to ride again, but i will not test the west again.

  • Adventurous place and you can improve your concentration while walking on plank route at 930 meter high. The cliff path gives access to temple the wall will definitely gives you confidence that any thing is possible with focus. The harness provides psychological support and also keep you focused and in action rather than fear
  • great place to hike, be with nature, shout, take pictures, etc. a lot of walking . make sure to wear comfortable shoes with a good traction. some areas are slippery. also plenty of uphills hence train your heart before this journey. this is not recommended for those with disabilities (unfit, no endurance, weak leg muscles -will easily tire). they can use the cable car and walk for a few meters but not travel from south to north then east. not recommended if not ready. bring water. or buy water on the mountains. cloud covered mountains is not unusual. may find trails very heavily trafficked/busy with oceans of tourists. must be in your bucket list if you love mountains, good hike, and beautiful sceneries.
