  • The famous Vorontsovsky Palace is located in Alupka (Crimea) at the foot of the AI-Petri mountain. It is an amazing beauty, surrounded by a beautiful, wonderful park, construction. The palace was built as a summer residence of the Governor-General of the Novorossiysk region, Count M.S. Vorontsov. The palace is made in the spirit of English castle. The author of the project is the court architect of the English Queen Victoria E. Blore.

  • It's not the first time I come to this park-palace. This time we decided to walk in the upper park, visited the big Chaos and the Swan Lakes. I would like to recommend everyone to try the incredibly tasty and natural ice cream, which is sold in a stall called "soft ice Cream"-This is if you go from the bus station to the main entrance (the one that is at the bottom of the park). The salesman is a tall sociable guy. Ice cream in fresh crisp glasses of different volume and price. I had to go back twice to buy this dessert again (for future use you will not get it!)

  • Unusual architecture and beautiful park. I strongly recommend visiting both!
  • The Vorontsov Palace (Воронцовский дворец) or the Alupka Palace is an historic palace situated at the foot of the Crimean Mountains near the town of Alupka in Crimea. The Vorontsov Palace is one of the oldest and largest palaces in Crimea, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions on Crimea's southern coast. The palace was built between 1828 and 1848 for Russian Prince Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov. It was designed in a loose interpretation of the English Renaissance architect Edward Blore and his assistant William Hunt. The building is a hybrid of several architectural styles, but faithful to none. Among those styles are elements of Scottish Baronial, Mughal architecture, and Gothic Revival architecture.
