After riding the small train into the Grottes de Lacave, continue your tour of the caves through Tarasque Hall, where rock formations evoke legendary animals. After crossing the Room of the Three Fates and the Snow Room, you'll see the immense stone called Our Lady of Lacave. When you reach the Hall of the Great Dome, the lakes become more numerous and the formations become more curious: A column looks like the legs of spiders, for example. The Mirage room offers the breathtaking spectacle of a mysterious underwater city. The greatest treasure of all is the Wonderland room, lit by dramatic black lights that animate it to appear like a living being.
