One of the oldest churches in Germany, Mainz Cathedral is one of the city's most prominent landmarks. The 1,000-year-old structure's ornate Romanesque exterior architecture includes several large, cylindrical towers. Inside, wander the naves and aisles, lined with statues of saints. The main altar is an intricate piece of design. The onsite museum features gold-plated reliquaries and sculptures. The crypt is dedicated to the local saints of Mainz.     Mainz Dom has the baroque vibes protected and Roman culture is engraved inside. There are so many details to be checked. You should visit and enjoy the sightseeing. There are thombs underneath for the old bishops and also a small room for praying. Furthermore if you want to learn more about there is a museum inside with a small entrance fee.

    Enormous cathedral in romanesque style. Especially the dome makes great impression, is extremely high. Gray walls only enhance this feeling. And it was not destroyed during the ww2!
