Fiumei Road Cemetery Reviews
This is a really cool cemetery, many of the graves are very old, almost covered in vines. If you like extravagant mausoleums, you have come to the right place and if you, like us, love statues... more »
This place is fantastic. When we visited it had been snowing and it was so calm and peaceful. Signposts to some of the more popular graves which must be useful for people who visit with the intention.... more »
Absolutely beautiful cemetery with some great history. Grab a map/information brochure at the front entrance before walking around so you can learn as you stroll. There is a museum as well, open until 5. I missed it, but it looks interesting.
I think It should be on everybody's bucket list, who all are visiting Budapest. Wonderful architecture and contains a lot of stories in it. You will find burial from ancient time till present. All the contemporary significant or Paramount personalities are buried here. I didn't expect a graveyard to be so great but it failed my expectations. Spread over a very large area. Very quiet and touching. Has a good green lawn. I really liked it.
