New York Palace, Budapest

The old capital of the Hungarian kingdom, crossed by the majestic Danube, Budapest is an incredible crossroads of civilization and culture, an inspiring muse for generations of artists. The luxury Boscolo Budapest hotel embodies its soul perfectly and is an obligatory destination for anyone fascinated by excellence. The location of what was called the ‘most wonderful café in the world’, the New York Café, it is a work of art now restored to its former glory. Old-style prestige is united with maximum levels of comfort guaranteed by a most elegant interior design: marble, bronze, brocade and period frescoes magically complement the crystal and steel typical of contemporary design in an attempt to find perfection.

  • Amazing café with strong coffee and nice cakes! Perfect for a short stop to listen to the live orchestra. Lovely service too, thanks to our waiter Kitty!  more »
  • This place is just stunning. I had the 24cart gold hot chocolate and my partner had an icecream bowl, both were lovely. Service was very good and staff were friendly. It’s a must in Budapest!  more »

  • The decor was astonishing. Some friends were staying here and I joined them for breakfast. What an incredible atmosphere. Like an opulent museum. Just hanging out in here and having the buffet felt really special. I definitely recommend a meal here. Frankly the food wasn’t that much of a standout I give this 4 stars mostly for the feel. Also, I came very very close to buying a pair of shoes a few blocks from here. This is a good location for wandering the streets of Budapest for shopping and just getting lost. I’d stay here.
  • Your hotel was so very beautiful. Our stay was amazing but made extra special by the very kind and extremely helpful concierge, Peter Borbely. He went out of his way to answer questions, book city tours and get us to our cruise ship upon departure. Thank you, Peter for making our stay in Budapest so incredible!
