  • The state of the ancient frescos is pretty good, giving a good insight into Italian middle age interpretation of Bible stories.
  • Traveling from Siena to Florence we decided to stop off at San Gimignano. This is a Medieval town that was around since the 1300's and was wiped out by the black plague. It was later, 500 years or so, re-inhabited. The view and the history is amazing.
