  • This temple is also known as Kita-Daisuke for Mt. Otsuchi in Yoshino. It is a temple in the mountains that is not so accessible as it cannot be thought of as Kyoto city. In front of the gate is Mr. Miyamaso, which is famous as a cooking inn. And here, it is a standpoint that it accepts general visits as a training place of the mountain belief. Photography is prohibited after passing through the Nio Gate (only wallets and visiting signs were kept in the head bag to be passed). After paying the admission fee and receiving the explanation, it passes through the Nio gate, and it takes 10-15 minutes one way to the main hall of the stage cliff making. Get to the main hall and meditate for 10 minutes. Please try to go back in about 40 minutes. Winter closures and rainy weather closures are also natural, and some of the mossy stone steps are tied to the chain area (not so much that you can't climb unless you grab them). On the way, we went to the main hall to say hello at the bell tower. There are a lot of beetles, but it is a strange atmosphere that you can understand that it is a training place. As I arrived and calmed my breath and mind, I feel indescribable. I went ...

  • Yamaji Temple is located in the deep interior of Kyohoku. You need to walk about 30 minutes from the nearest bus stop to get there. There is no up-and-down, so it's easy for the mountain temple to pass through the site of The Miyamaso, which is also published in the Michelin Guide. The big tree of Takano in front of the gate is impressive, but it is only so that i can take a picture. Baggage must be checked in at the time of acceptance. The stone steps after diving through the gate are long, but since it's a single way, there's no need to worry about getting lost, and it's not too steep.

  • Bujoji Temple is located in the north part of Hanase. The temple was established by Kanku Sainen as a training hall. The title of its mountain is Daihizan ( Mt. Daihi ). The main object of its worship is Senjyu Kannon statue ( Kannon statue with 1,000 hands ). Daihizan belongs to Myoshin branch of Rinzai sect of Buddhism. The structure of this temple is the original form of much-famed Kiyomizu Temple in Higashiyama with a large stage sticking out with a deck at the edge of a mountain. ( Trans-word+ TGM Kyoto Guide )
  • For me is not whether or not exclusive character bent that some people will be in the Kyoto City Kyoto rakuchu except not too, this temple is "really a Kyoto? "And in the mountains, such as would be. It is say how deep in the mountains or by underground on the bus from the nearest bus stop (大悲山 exit) and woke up still Kurama-Dera Temple was about the mountains. On 2005, GW, rain intermittent on the day we visit. Was able to witness the spectacle as the Wonderland of here will not visit during the wet weather is so happy to have it, it rains. We have limited bus service will almost spend the day at home, but are well worth it. Was Buddha like also some storerooms had been published in the special. Scent was certified as the tallest 11/17 tree is the sacred tree of the temple. We recommend is the quite magnificence, so that worship together. If you listen to Temple, can you tell me way. Omotesando until constant peak-JI Hondo is unpaved mountain roads. Way to the scent is the same. Because it is dangerous and not a good walking shoes, please note that point.
