Traditions Malta is a testimony to the many skills, crafts and traditions that have shaped everyday life on the Maltese island. Situated in San Anton Gardens and surrounded by a botanical delight of mature trees, old stone urns, fountains, ponds and formal flower beds the exhibition recreates the daily life of the Maltese people in century past. We will take you back in time and let you experience the art of lace making, cotton spinning, cloth weaving, glass blowing, stone carving, clock making, pottery, canework, filigree, gilding and the creation of clay.

  • This hidden treasure in the middle of San Anton Gardens is a must see for anyone interested in finding out a bit more about the way life was in Malta before the industrial revolution that followed the Second World War. If you have the time visit it!! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere unique!
