  • The Museum itself is fantastic, though there's a huge wait to get in even in off peak season and even if you get there early. We didn't buy tickets prior to going and had to wait in a huge line, whereas those who brought tickets had priority with a shorter line. Those who booked the tour associated with the museum got priority above all and didn't have to wait at all. Great service and a really lovely museum though and wonderful to see how they lived. You have to pay an extra 30 pesos for permission to take photographs. There's a gift store, Cafe and bathrooms.
  • You must get tickets on line. Otherwise the wait is just so long. The museum is her old home in Mexico City. It houses lots of her belongings but not a lot of her actual art. Space is relatively small and crowds are large so you can’t browse or wander. That said it’s a special place and I recommend it. The public market a few blocks down is a great spot for lunch!
