Well worth visiting , it's inside the Pakistan monument park. You do need to pay a further 20PKR per person to enter the museum but that equates to about 15pence. Lots of history to read about and some fantastic staged areas. Highly recommend if you're in Islamabad.
Well maintained but a bit congested and overcrowded. Good place for children to get an introduction to the history of Pakistan. Sculptures and models of independence era are amazing. Entry ticket for adults is 20 rupees and for foreign tourists, it is 250 rupees.
