  • The experience was nice, you get to shake hands, dolphin jump and option of free diving with dolphins. Price reasonable. Five dolphins here in total, some imported from Japan. The facility is made to educate tourists and locals. Dolphins are well trained, however would be better if dolphins could be released into the wild, as the facility is too small for dolphins.
  • This was a stop on the tour that I booked for 3 days in Palau. After learning that the dolphins are kept in these man-made enclosures, I opted out of paying $10 to feed and watch them perform tricks and sat out instead. Dolphins Pacific’s site claims they are a nonprofit that maintains this site for research education and conservation purposes, but there are clear ties to the annual dolphin killings in Taiji, Japan, as their dolphins are imported from Japan. Palau is world-renowned shark sanctuary but they clearly don’t hold dolphins in the same regard.
