Ngardmau Falls, Koror

#3 of 13 in Parks in Palau
Waterfall · Nature / Park
Stand under the rushing waters of Ngardmau Falls, a 30 m (100 ft) high waterfall hidden among the surrounding jungle. Legend has it that a giant eel appeared on the rocks here and lay down for centuries, draped over the edge of the cliff face. Over time, the magic eel--considered a god by the locals--turned into a mighty river. Have a bite to eat in a traditional Palauan hut as the water cascades down, and follow the river through the diverse forest, discovering natural pools and local wildlife. Make Ngardmau Falls a centerpiece of your Koror vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Koror trip itinerary builder website.
