Try to unravel a mystery that has long stumped historians at The Chandelier. Carved into a sandstone slope around 2,000 years ago, the massive geoglyph depicts a three-armed candelabra, whose significance remains a topic of debate. Some experts believe the symbol to be related to similar iconography found hundreds of miles away in Nazca, although the larger connection between the two places remains a mystery. Take a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands to witness the enigma--you can only see the carving from the water. .......dopo aver pernottato a Paracas , partendo dal porticciolo , con il battello ci siamo diretti verso il parco marino per vedere la fauna locale sugli isolotti o meglio faraglioni .....pinguini , ... more »....... after spending a night in Paracas, starting from the marina, with the boat we headed to the marine park to see the local fauna on the islets or better to the gleaps ..... penguins, sea lions, birds of different natures........ but before arriving in the marine park we could observe from the sea the wonderful vision of the CANDELIERE, the first great Incas symbol that I could observe in Peru.... of giant size, resting on the ridge of the hill in front of the sea, is of considerable effect and surely you will never forget ! Stunning and fascinating this incas symbol, left to posterity ..... absolutely to see, for the beautiful conditions in which it is preserved !

A drawing on the sand that seems to have to disappear at the first breath of wind so much seems ethereal and yet here it resists undaunted despite the inclement passing of time and the pressing of natural events. Just a moment and we are already beyond but the image will always remain present in our mind.
