The Arts House (formerly Old Parliament House) is a building in Singapore. It is currently a multi-disciplinary arts venue which plays host to art exhibitions and concerts. Built in 1827, the Old Parliament House is the oldest government building and perhaps the oldest surviving building in Singapore. • Never knew this place exists until my friend brought me over. Went over during a weekend, but it was really quiet inside, not much visitors. The interior was gorgeous, love the lighting, shadows, decorations etc. This was the old parliament house of Singapore, so you could see the places where those important meetings were held. The chairs have all the big names' name tag embedded on it. We roam around the space by our own, saw a photography gallery on exhibition that day. I would come again to take some nice artsy photos next time hahaha. Do visit here and learn about them histories! I feel so inspired by the interior and the tranquil aura.
  • A well maintained building showing the splendours of the 19th century style. This is also the old Parliament building and it's interesting to use the old debating chambers for a variety of functions including weddings.
