Coated with rows of blue tiles and covered with a blue-glazed roof, Blue Church of St. Elizabeth looks like a giant wedding cake, according to many. The candy-colored church was built around 1908 in the Hungarian secessionist style and first served as the chapel of the neighboring high school. Everything about the church bears resemblance to a cake--its shape, the facade's light blue color, and the white, frosting-like ornaments. A cylindrical church tower rises 37 m (120 ft) from the ground. Notice the circular mosaic of St. Elizabeth of Hungary above the main portal and the altar decorated with the image of her giving alms to the poor. Definitely worthy of a visit if in Bratislava. Church is located just a few minutes walk from downtown and very easy to get to and find. Very picturesque looking building with intricate details and art work. Colour makes it very unusual whilst at the same time standing out from the nearby buildings. Enjoyed our visit here and can peek inside too

Well it is kind of breathtaking place. You don’t see it immediately because it is between the buildings but when you see it and it is one of these moments. Unfortunately we could not see it inside because was closed at the moment but still worth it. Also the school next it is a piece of art. Overall very nice experience to see it.
