Must see · Historic Site · Tourist Spot
Visit Fort de Windt, one of the Caribbean's best-preserved forts, which served as a defensive structure from 1756 until it was abandoned in 1815. Take in picturesque views over the Caribbean Sea and St Kitts toward the southeast. As you stroll around the fort, find rusty cannons scattered about, as well as two cannons looking out over the water. Find a sundial and step back to the 18th century as you use it to tell the time. • Really nice viewpoint across to St Kitts and Nevis as well as of the White Wall. If you have a car it’s worth driving out there.  more »
  • Amazing views of the ocean and other close islands. We went several different times of the day and it changes. Went on a full moon night and it was stunning. Peaceful to sit on the wall.  more »
