Wildlife Area · Beach
Step onto the protected sands of Zeelandia Beach, a rugged and natural shore, bordered by craggy cliffs and overlooked by a large and dramatic mountain. Though this spot isn't suitable for swimming due to strong currents, it's ideal for hiking and observing the drama of the ocean. This remote 3 km (2 mi) beach is also a favored location for many species of nesting turtles, so be sure to pick up any litter before you leave. • This is a nice beach to stroll and feel the fresh breeze of the atlantic , I would not recommend swimming as there is a serious undertown. For experienced surfers : there are some days with very good waves to surf upon. At times when the moon is full you can watch Leatherbacks coming ashore to lay eggs at night. Breeding place for tropical birds in the cliffs.
