Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Mon): explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge, then catch a live performance at Albany Town Hall, then examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, and finally explore the galleries of Blush Retail Gallery. On your second day here, get engrossed in the history at Albany's Historic Whaling Station and then stroll through Greens Pool.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. On the 8th (Wed), take in the exciting artwork at Anything & Everything Esperance, then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Cape Le Grand National Park, and then make a trip to Esperance Whale Tail.
