As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Go for a jaunt from Minsk to Ptich to see Dudutki Museum Complex about 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: browse the collection at National Library of Belarus, appreciate the history behind Island of Tears, walk around Victory Park, and don't miss a visit to Independence Square, Minsk.

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Step out of Brest to go to Kamianiuki and see Bielaviežskaja pušča National Park, which is approximately 58 minutes away. There's still lots to do: brush up on your military savvy at Memorial Complex Brest Hero-Fortress, examine the collection at Berestye Archeological Museum, admire the natural beauty at Zimniy Sad, and make a trip to Brest Railway Station Building.

Traveling by train from Minsk to Brest takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. September in Brest sees daily highs of 22°C and lows of 11°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) so you can go by car to Grodno.

The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
Venture out of the city with trips to Lida (Monument Bronze Town Arms, Sun Clock, &more). There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at The Jesuit Catholic Church, delve into the distant past at The Old Castle, get your game on at Recreation and Development Center PORTAL, and meet the residents at Grodno Zoo.

Mir is a town in Kareličy raion, Hrodna Voblast, Belarus on the banks of Miranka River, about 85 kilometers southwest of the national capital, Minsk.Prior to 1939 the town was in Poland.HistoryMir village was founded sometime prior to 1345. Start off your visit on the 13th (Sun): pause for some serene contemplation at St. Joseph's Church, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. John The Baptist, then explore the historical opulence of Nesvizh Castle, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Corpus Christi Church in Nesvizh.
