As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Go for a jaunt from Minsk to Ptich to see Dudutki Museum Complex about 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: browse the collection at National Library of Belarus, take an in-depth tour of Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, examine the collection at Museum Strana Mini, and pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Saints Simon and Helena.

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Go for a jaunt from Brest to Kamianiuki to see Bielaviežskaja pušča National Park about 58 minutes away. There's much more to do: learn about all things military at Memorial Complex Brest Hero-Fortress, contemplate the waterfront views at Rowing Canal, examine the collection at The 5th Fort Museum, and take in the pleasant sights at Sovetskaya Street.

The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
Venture out of the city with trips to Lida (Monument Bronze Town Arms, Sun Clock, &more). The adventure continues: take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Jesuit Catholic Church, see the interesting displays at Grodno Gates, have some family-friendly fun at Recreation and Development Center PORTAL, and admire the landmark architecture of Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church.
