Positano

Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
Get in touch with nature at Fornillo and Fishing Charters & Tours. Head to Ceramiche D'Arte Pascal and Ceramiche d'Arte Carmelafor some retail therapy. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Positano: Ravello (Villa Cimbrone Gardens, Duomo di Ravello, & more), Lido di Ravello (in Castiglione) and Amalfi (Valle delle Ferriere, Duomo di Sant'Andrea, & more). There's lots more to do: stroll through Bagni d'Arienzo Beach Club, Positano, get outside with Walk of the Gods, enjoy the sand and surf at Spiaggia Grande, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cloister del Paradiso.

New Delhi, India to Positano is an approximately 14-hour combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 4 hours traveling from New Delhi to Positano. Traveling from New Delhi in June, expect nights in Positano to be little chillier, around 23°C, while days are colder, around 32°C. While often overshadowed by the Amalfi Coast's array of quaint villages, Salerno has become one of the region's main areas for culture and entertainment, while remaining relatively unmarked by tourism.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Fri): look for all kinds of wild species at Oasi Valle della Caccia, pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Libreria Antiquaria Vecchi Libri, take in the exciting artwork at Ceramiche Cosmolena di Margherita di Palma, then enjoy the sand and surf at Otium Spa Costa d'Amalfi, then kick back and relax at Spiaggia di castiglione, and finally view the masterpieces at Sol’Art Ceramiche. Here are some ideas for day two: hike along Ravello - Atrani Walk, hike along Sentiero dei Limoni, kick back and relax at Spiaggia Lannio, do a tasting at Le Vigne di Raito, then kick back and relax at Marina Di Vietri, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Salerno.

Getting from Positano to Salerno by ferry takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of taxi and train; or drive. In June, daytime highs in Salerno are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Rome.

You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Trevi Fountain and Parco Natura e Fattoria Didattica Voloalto. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Via Condotti and Soqquadro APS.
