You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Danube River and Sas Hill Nature Reserve. Fisherman's Bastion and Hősök tere are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Ram Szakadek in Domos (about 48 minutes away). There's lots more to do: step off the mainland to explore Margaret Island, stroll through Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden, get outside with City Park Városliget, and snap pictures at Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid).

Salvador, Brazil to Budapest is an approximately 19.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. Traveling from Salvador to Budapest, you'll lose 4 hours due to the time zone difference. The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Wed): admire the striking features of St. Stephen's Cathedral, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's on the Bank (Maria Am Gestade), then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Schönbrunn Zoo, and finally admire the masterpieces at Belvedere Palace. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Thu): admire the masterpieces at Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, then get to know the fascinating history of Ringstrasse, and then see the interesting displays at Imperial Palace (Hofburg).

You can take a train from Budapest to Vienna in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. May in Vienna sees daily highs of 22°C and lows of 11°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to take a train to Munich.

Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Nymphenburg Palace and Herrenchiemsee New Palace. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Deutsches Museum and Neuschwanstein Castle. Take a break from Munich with a short trip to Wies Church in Steingaden, about 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at English Garden.

Traveling by train from Vienna to Munich takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Prague.
