The scene of one of the most dramatic battles of the Cuban Revolution, Santa Clara today possesses a youthful feel and a reputation for progressive thought.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Mon): examine the collection at Museo de Agroindustria Azucarera, make a trip to Fabrica de Tabacos Costantino Perez Carrodegua, then don't miss a visit to Teatro La Caridad, and finally walk around Parque Leoncio Vidal. On the 5th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: go for a walk through Iglesia de San Juan Batista, take an in-depth tour of Museo de Artes Decorativas, then pause for some photo ops at Monumento a la Toma del Tren Blindado, then pause for some photo ops at Che Guevara Mausoleum, and finally don't miss a visit to Statue of Che Guevara Holding a Child.
