Brussels

— 8 nights

Capital of Europe

The allure of the multi-cultural capital, Brussels, stems from its mix of political intrigue, artistic influence, historical significance, and a thriving social scene.
Head to The Old Chocolate House and Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubertfor plenty of shopping. Step off the beaten path and head to St Michael's Bridge and Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Brussels: Bruges (Historic Centre of Brugge, Torture Museum Oude Steen, &more) and Ghent (Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) & St. Nicholas' Cathedral). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Train World, get a new perspective on nature at Museum of Natural Sciences, steep yourself in history at Parc du Cinquantenaire, and take a peaceful walk through Sonian Forest.

Antwerp

— 12 nights
Its reputation as a business-centric city distracts many visitors from the real draws of Antwerp: its historical sites, architectural beauty, and lively culture.
Explore hidden gems such as Rubens House (Rubenshuis) and GERETTI Jewellery & Diamonds. Carolus Borromeus Church and Cogels Osylei will appeal to history buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to Mechelen (Kazerne Dossin & St. Rumbold's Cathedral), Fort Van Duffel (in Duffel) and Battle of Polygon Wood (in Zonnebeke). There's much more to do: deepen your knowledge of military history at Fort Breendonk, ponder the world of politics at Town Hall (Stadhuis), stroll the grounds of Essex Farm Cemetery, and see the interesting displays at Chocolate Nation.
