A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.
Get out of town with these interesting Perth side-trips: Carldenn Homestead Wines (in Bickley), Fremantle (Fremantle Markets, Fremantle Prison, &more) and Mandurah (Dolphin Quay & Dolphin & Whale Watching). Dedicate the 11th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Located at the western end of Coral Coast, with its long sheltered beaches and popular surf spots, Sigatoka is best known for its immediate surroundings than for the town itself.
On the 15th (Wed), take a tour by water with Diveaway Fiji and then see exotic creatures in open habitats at Off-Road Cave Safari. On the next day, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas and then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.

Fly from Perth to Sigatoka in 12.5 hours. The time zone difference when traveling from Perth to Sigatoka is 4 hours. While traveling from Perth, expect somewhat warmer days and much hotter nights in Sigatoka, ranging from highs of 33°C to lows of 23°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Thu) so you can catch the flight to Taveuni Island.

Situated on a verdant, hilly peninsula, Suva is the second-largest city in the South Pacific and has been the capital of Fiji since 1882.
