In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 3rd (Wed), get outside with Aero Club Monte Cornizzolo, pause for some serene contemplation at Santuary of Our Lady of Miracles, and then examine the collection at Tempio Civico della Beata Vergine Incoronata. On your second day here, admire the landmark architecture of Certosa di Milano, then see La Casa Maledetta, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Chiesa di San Cristoforo sul Naviglio, and finally make a trip to Torre Branca.
