Warrington is a large town and unitary authority area in Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey, 20mi east of Liverpool, and 20mi west of Manchester. Visit Llanfairfechan Beach and Formby Beach for some beach relaxation. Do some cultural sightseeing at National Trust - Chirk Castle and Plas Mawr. Get out of town with these interesting Warrington side-trips: Malham Cove and Gordale (in Malham), Bronte Parsonage Museum (in Haworth) and Snugburys Ice Cream (in Nantwich). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop, examine the collection at Quarry Bank Mill, admire the natural beauty at Walton Hall and Gardens, and identify plant and animal life at Carding Mill Valley.

For other places to visit, traveler tips, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Warrington trip generator.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airports are Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Blackpool International Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport. Expect a daytime high around 9°C in February, and nighttime lows around 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
