Warrington is a large town and unitary authority area in Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey, 20mi east of Liverpool, and 20mi west of Manchester. Bring the kids along to Llanfairfechan Beach and Walton Hall and Gardens. Do some cultural sightseeing at Quarry Bank and Plas Mawr. Get out of town with these interesting Warrington side-trips: Formby Beach (in Formby), Bronte Parsonage Museum (in Haworth) and Malham Cove (in Malham). There's lots more to do: identify plant and animal life at Carding Mill Valley, stop by Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop, and explore the historical opulence of National Trust - Chirk Castle.

To see other places to visit, photos, and more tourist information, refer to the Warrington trip itinerary maker.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport. In February, plan for daily highs up to °C, and evening lows to °C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
