Budapest

— 58 nights

Pearl of the Danube

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Fisherman's Bastion has been added to your itinerary. Explore Budapest's surroundings by going to Archaeological Park (in Szazhalombatta), Erd Minaret (in Erd) and Eger (Gardonyi Geza Emlekmuzeum, Eger Castle, &more). There's still lots to do: get a sense of history and politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Dohány Street Synagogue, admire the landmark architecture of Matthias Church, and pause for some photo ops at Shoes on the Danube Bank.

If you are flying in from Bangladesh, the closest major aiport is Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in October, and nighttime lows around 7°C.
