Cuba's capital and major commercial center, Havana manages to be very old and very modern at the same time.
Step off the beaten path and head to Playa Paraiso and Sea Turtle Hatchery. When in Havana, make a side trip to see Sirena Beach in Cayo Largo, approximately 2 hours away. The adventure continues: wander the streets of Fusterlandia, contemplate the long history of Finca Vigía, don't miss a visit to Old Havana, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Havana Cathedral.

Amsterdam, Holland to Havana is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. The time zone changes from Central European Time (CET) to Cuba Standard Time (CST), which is usually a -6 hour difference.
