Johannesburg to Cape Town is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. December in Cape Town sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 18°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sun) so you can travel to Upington.

Upington is a town founded in 1884 and located in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, on the banks of the Orange River. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): take an in-depth tour of Kalahari-Oranje Museum and then do a tasting at Orange River Cellars.
