Most tourism in Medina, the second-holiest city in Islam, comes from pilgrims who visit as part of the Hajj, an annual traditional journey that ends in Mecca.

Getting from Sarajevo to Kotor by car takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Sarajevo in January, things will get a bit warmer in Kotor: highs are around 13°C and lows about 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
