Odessa's best-known city landmark and symbol, Potemkin Stairs also served as the site for a famous early film scene. The 1925 film "Battleship Potemkin" used the steps as the stage for a fictionalized massacre of civilians by Tsarist forces and a naval mutiny on a ship of the same name. You can walk the steps yourself along the seaward-facing entrance to town and see the optical illusion that makes it appear as a continuous staircase or a continuous landing from the bottom and top, respectively. Bring your camera; from the top of the stairs you can get a sweeping view over the bay and harbor. • Nothing really special about the stairs, but worth checking out if you're already in the area for other sites. It's also a nice place to work out (run the stairs and through the surrounding park trails) when it's not too crowded. There is a nice park area not far away, with a number of shops, and stalls, as well as the occasional nighttime activities.
  • Nice and beautiful parkThe place is very large, it contains tourist attractions, and it is in the city center near the opera house, there are many places for hiking and taking pictures. A family friendly place to take children. There are places to sell coffee as well as fast food. If you want to visit Odessa, you must visit this place. Good luck!
