  • Is it enough to walk from the Navoi Theatre? It was a small museum and I enjoyed it with a good sense of scale to learn about The crafts of Uzbekistan. There is also a coffee shop, so you can enjoy it while taking a break.

  • much better the building than the samples it contains, a lot of craftsmanship and many reproductions. It's another way to offer a more tourist attraction

  • This is a hidden treasure in Tashkent. The museum is compact. Entrance fee is 5,000 sum, but if you want to take a picture of exhibits, you should pay 10,000 sum more and staff give you a badge which allows to take a picture. Most exhibits are from Uzbeki artists and are made in 18~20th century. Exhibits include paints, carpets, clothes etc.
  • Nice place! It’s your chance to see all that beautiful tile work in close range. They also have a fantastic collection of textiles, carpets from all over Western Asia. Very pleasant staff. Wonderful building in an interesting neighborhood of Tashkent.
