The Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum is a local maritime history museum located in the town of Ballina, New South Wales in Australia. The museum explicitly houses and records the local maritime history of Ballina and the former mariners that reside in the town. Many of the museum's founding members, as well as some current volunteers served in the Royal Australian Navy. The museum is located on Regatta avenue, behind the Ballina Tourist information centre. The museum is noted for maintaining in its collection one of the three Las Balsas craft and it also manages the largest naval and merchant ship model collection in Australia.

A lot of parking, however park towards the water if you have a trailer (only 1 or 2 spaces). Definitely worth the 5$ each. There is so much to see.It is actually quiet big. Spent an hour there...

So much to see in the Naval Museum Located in the centre of town behind the Library. The museum houses so many models of ships. It has pieces of old ships For those who are interested in the navy activities during the WWII this museum will provide you with a wealth of info Highly recommended
