Cunderdin Museum, Cunderdin

Very interesting museum being one of the original pump sites for the Perth to Kalgoorlie pipe line. Some machinery there to look at and understand the process. Other interest things to look at as well.

I would recommend you take the time to make the drive to visit and explore this incredible museum and in particular the history of the Kalgoorlie pipeline and the amazing engineer C Y O’Connor who was the engineer who designed the pipeline and pumping stations etc. Suggest at least 2 hours to take in everything this museum has to offer The museum also has extensive exhibitions associated the war, Meckering earthquake, agricultural machinery and even early train travel. Makes a great day trip from Perth with stops at other towns along the way for morning tea or you can enjoy a coffee and meal at the Ettamogah Pub in Cunderdin or elsewhere along the way. Why not stop for dinner on the way back to perth.
