  • Great to see the exhibition on Cyclone Tracey. The maritime section was also very interesting but expected to see more aboriginal art.

  • This museum is really with visiting especially the Cyclone Tracey section. There was an interesting exhibit on songlines in the Gallery section. There is also an interesting section on boats...

  • Introduced me to the history and nature of Darwin in a well-designed layout.
  • Modern Museum. A great place to chill out of the sun. Exhibitions of school work, indigenous work, cyclone Tracy, marine & animal history of the territory and surrounds. Only part that was a bit bad was the boat showcase under the hot Tin roof, this section is really hot and should be skimmed through quick as possible. Ideally viewing from the board walk. Other than that good way to burn some hours.
