  • Spent a lovely few hours hear. Loved the art by young people. Great fun watching the ‘Montages’ exhibition - brilliant cuts and editing. Great art upstairs and saw ‘Sweetheart’ and the boats. Nice...

  • Free admission. Donation will be appreciated. Learn some history about Darwin the Tracy the cyclone and aboriginals people and arts and animals around this area. Good place to go for a hot weather. And also good to bring your kids. Recommend allow 1-2 hour for this Museum or even longer if you have a relax travel schedule. Gift shop has a lot to sell and the staff are friendly.
  • One of the best museums I've been to in Australia! And free admission. NATSIAA Art Awards were showing. Amazing work. Recorded memories of the cyclone in 74 are engaging. The large exhibition of real boats is impressive and the accounts of travel from Vietnam touching. Overall, so much to see here, great cafe, and beautiful location by the water. An excellent resource and way to spend half a day in Darwin.
