    Beautiful grassy, open location surrounded by trees. I camped there for 2 nights. There is 3 picnic tables, 1 with shelter, drop toilets are nearby. It is close to the dirt road that leads to Gap...

    great tracks around the park, camping and just hiking around, top place to 4x4 as well, the trees are enormous here

    If you can visit on a weekday - it's alot quieter. Beautiful forest areas, some with fern lined roads. Lots of beautiful bird calls. Mostly need an AWD for access as there's often lots of potholes and some are quite deep. Wouldn't recommend a sedan in most parts. If a road says unmaintained - it is only for the seasoned 4WD drivers. Must take own food, water & drinks. Take away your own rubbish. Remember insect repellant & be prepared for leeches in damp areas. Be sure to check your maps before entering the park as there may be no service in some areas.
