  • Its an interesting structure and insight into the state and countries past and the views from the top are really good. You can also go on the roof for free which is nice :).

  • Walked to Shrine of Remembrance from Melbourne CBD about 20 mins. The Royal Botanical Gardens are also next door. This is a free attraction. Stewards were very informative. Walk through to Crypt...

  • Any tourist visiting Melbourne, whether international or domestic, will have a memorable experience. A beautiful view over this part of Melbourne is available from the roof of the Shrine, which is free to enter. Discover the real-life stories of Australians in wartime in Melbourne's iconic landmark. It was well presented and informative. Open daily 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm).
  • It was a serene experience relieving the history of Victorians. Visited on a Sunday morning. The place was quite empty and we also witnessed a military ceremony to pay homage to the fallen in war. About how to reach: Tram services are available right in front of the place and Botanical Garden is just a walk away.
