Warner Bros. Movie World
Hollywood's gotten a few silver-screen stars, such as Russell Crowe, from the Land Down Under. It makes sense then that the world's movie capital would have an Australian outpost. Standing as the country's only movie-related theme park, Warner Bros. Movie World provides movie-themed roller coasters, motion simulators, and river cruises. You can snap photos with celluloid heroes who roam the park, including Batman, Austin Powers, and Marilyn Monroe. The park even houses movie studios responsible for bringing Scooby Doo, Peter Pan, and other films to the big screen. Take a look at our Gold Coast trip planner to schedule your visit to Warner Bros. Movie World and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

Visited as a family of 4, 2 adults and two teenage sons. Paid the $400 plus to enter and managed just two rides in 5 hours. Too many people not enough rides. I would not recommend. Go to...

Terrible. Waited in line. That’s about it. Lots of rides closed. Not many shows. Way too Overcrowded. Not a fun day at all, never again.

A little disappointed. I haven't been to Movieworld for about 5 years. 4 main rides were closed for our visit (peak period too) forcing everyone into the remaining ride queues. Wait times of around 1-2.5 hours per ride. So we only got on 3 rides and watched the stunt car show for the entire day there. New Dc Rivals roller coaster is amazing! Best thrill ride I've ever been on. The log ride has seen much better days, it has not been maintained so the 'special' effects no longer work, still kinda fun though after the 1.5 hour wait to get on. The park has a new virtual queue on the app to save waiting in lines, didn't work for me once, every 'virtual' queue was listed as full for the entire day so useless feature unfortunately. The app also kept saying I wasn't in the park and forcing me to log out and back in constantly. Maybe Sea World and wet and wild will be better. So far though 3 Park super pass for $180 not worth the money. 2.5 stars if I'm being honest.

If you can afford it, please get the express passes early! They are for 1 time use but are essential. Its impossible otherwise to do all the rides considering there was a minimum hour long wait for general audience. Definitely download the app that comes with your entry pass. It will allow you to use the virtual queue. I highly recommend it! its free and practically the same as an express pass. Use this to your advantage. Enjoy and may the lines be forever in your favor!
