Located on a former brickworks site, n mQueens Gardens includes lakes filled with water lilies, huge displays of flowers, sprawling lawns, and a Peter Pan statue, replicated from a figure located in London’s Kensington Gardens. The park opened to the public in 1898, and during the years leading up to World War I, often served as an elegant garden party venue. A bench located at the very center of the park was gifted to the city of Perth by an anonymous donor, after a failed marriage proposal to his girlfriend. The bench, featured in the movie "Notting Hill," is inscribed "To June who loved this garden from Joseph who always sat beside her." A lovely and very well maintained garden tucked away in Perth amongst them city. If you need to get out of the office and enjoy the serenity then this is a nice place to walk and relax.

Plenty of space, pricing good, close to the free CAT bus stops.

Have to get there early (pre 8am) for a spot. The 10 dollar all day parking is a great deal.
