Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe

Located at the base of the city’s eponymous red cliffs, Settlement Cove Lagoon is a large tropical swimming pool that is a favorite spot for families with small children and anyone else who enjoys splashing around shallow waters on hot days. This picturesque picnic spot is surrounded by shady fig and palm trees, and includes free barbecue facilities, large picnic shelters, playground areas, and showers. Next to it is a popular kids’ park, which features a seafront walk and bicycle paths, connecting this cove to the city’s main pier and the parks beyond.
