Although Ayers Rock 25 km (16 mi) gets all of the fame, Kata Tjuta / Mount Olga is pretty spectacular in its own right. This group of 36 rocky domes also rises mysteriously out of the flat Outback, with the highest peaking 546 m (1,791 ft) above the plain. If you're keeping score, that's 198 m (650 ft) higher than Ayers Rock. If you've come all this way to see the more famous of the rock formations, don't miss this one.
