Enter Swarovski Kristallwelten, an underground museum, through a hole in the hillside and step inside a massive crystalline theater. This attraction was created in 1995 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Swarovski crystal company. Designed by multimedia artist Andre Heller, the crystal museum encompasses art, music, dance, and literature into one overwhelming experience. "The Giant," a face landscaped on the hillside with crystals for eyes and a water fountain for a mouth, greets you as you approach the entrance of the museum. Swarovski Kristallwelten is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , international travel planner Edition.

  • We rearranged our trip the last minute and decided to come here on our anniversary day. That’s why we didn’t have time to study about this place in such detail. We absolutely enjoyed everything...

  • Absolutely amazing! Each room was perfect in its design in reaching your senses, smell, sight and hearing. The garden was equally as stunning and had so many photo opportunities. It was honestly like stepping into another world. I loved it and would highly recommend the trip for those that are interested.
  • Excellent museum. It's far from Innsbruck and pricey BUT totally worth it. I'd say it's a day trip. My surprise were: reasonable restaurant price and solid playground for children. Oh yes, you can totally feel people here are in business of making money. Everything is translated and very very well organized (like in the US)
