Thermen Katara, Belsele

Interesting experience. Did not know initially what to expect until we actually reached the place. With a long range of hours, enough and varied saunas, hot tubs, events and extra facilities, this is a great place to relax, especially in a couple. I highly recommend it at least once. Tip: food is great; bring own towels and robes if you want

This place is modern, clean and beautiful, and I liked that there are a lot of low temperature saunas (45-70 degrees), loved the Roman bath! Our food was very good too. However, didn't like that there was just one water fountain with warm-ish water to stay hydrated, that there were barely any aroma therapy in the saunas (not even the hamam!) and that it was quite crowded (Sunday afternoon), a bit noisy sometimes and with little free spaces to relax inside. Many saunas are small too. All in all good price-quality, but we prefer the bigger wellness complex in Brussels.
