Create an itinerary including Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle)
Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the upper level of the Gothic belfry at Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle). As you ascend, you'll pass through different levels, each with its own theme connected to the city's history from the early 14th century onwards. Spend some time exploring hall's exterior, too, which is covered in statuary depicting stories of the people of Ghent, such as a young girl feeding her prisoner father. The hall serves as a perfect introduction to the city, and its central location makes it a popular first stop if you've just arrived. The entry fee is small, and visitors under 25 get a reduced ticket price. Make Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) a part of your Ghent vacation plans using our Ghent tour planning site.
